Coinciding with the Keramat [generosity] decade in July 2018, the Organisation of Libraries, Museums and Documents Centres of AQR started building the first specialized children's library at the Imam Khomeini Cultural Centre due to the deprivation in the Khajeh Rabi' area and the absence of suitable space for reading books. The purpose of this space, which has about 100 meters of infrastructure, is to be utilized by age groups between 3 and 10 years old.
The number of resources in this library is more than 3000 books, and there are 800 children members. Kindergartens, elementary schools, and all centres that focus on children and teenagers can utilize the services of this library.
The specialized children's library consists of the following components:
Special resources for age group 'A' (years before elementary school)
Special resources for age group 'B' (In the early stages of elementary school)
Special resources for age group 'C’ (last years of primary school (
The section for children's intellectual games
