In 1999, the library of the Grand Mosque of Imam Reza (AS), which became affiliated with the Organisation of Libraries, Museums and Documents Centres of AQR, was inaugurated with the help of the residents of Bu Ali town, the board of trustees, and Astan Quds Razavi officials on the upper floor of Imam Reza (AS) Grand Mosque.
A respected benefactor of the Imam Reza (AS) Grand Mosque endowed the building of this library for the library and cultural affairs. This mosque was established by Haj Mohammad Al-Wazzan, who is a citizen of Kuwait and has built many other mosques in Khorasan province and other parts of the country that are now operational.
The library has a membership of over 14,000 people, with 28,000 volumes of printed resources and 529 reels of audio- visual resources.
The library has different sections such as the study hall, lending section, open-shelf hall, press section, and children's book station. In this library, there are also free psychological and counselling services available.
