History and location:
Hazrat Abdul Jalil Jalili, who was the Waqif [donor] and Custodian of the library, endowed the library of Ayatollah Jalili to the holy threshold of Hazrat Samen al- Hojaj on 16 July 1970 with the intention of making it public. The library was opened in September 2001 and consisted of two study halls for both men and women on a 150 square meter land infrastructure. With the Waqif's approval and Kermanshah Municipality's budget, the new library building was established in 2015 on two separate floors for the benefit of both men and women in the library area, increasing its capacity to 500 meters. It included three reading halls and a repository for women and two reading halls and a repository for men.
