Organisational Lending Regulations
An organisation membership program is being launched by Astan Quds Razavi to improve and develop its services for its covered libraries.

Preface 
This regulation is structured into 3 chapters, 10 articles and 7 notes for the benefit of legal members of the Astan Quds Razavi Central Library, with the aim of making the best use of the available facilities, preserving and maintaining resources and applying a coordinated procedure for lending library resources.

Requesting resources will be done using a form prepared by the library organisation and the applicant organisation

 

Chapter 2: General Rules
Article 1: In accordance with the rules and regulations determined by the library, all organisations involved in the libraries organisation contract must act accordingly.
Article 2:
Accepting the conditions announced by the library will lead to the extension of the membership's validity period, which is one year.
Article 3: The library requires a deposit of Riyal to be paid.
  Note 1: 500,000 Rials will be paid for membership credit and security deposit at the library.
Note 2: 500,000 Rials will be deposited as membership credits by the Libraries Organisation for the organisations affiliated of Astan Quds Razavi.
Article 4: Presenting the membership card and application form is necessary to hand over resources on loan to the organisation representative.
Note 1: A maximum of two representatives can be introduced by each organisation for legal membership.
Note 2: The organisation representative acts as a link between the related organisation and the Organisation of Libraries and the applicant organisation is directly accountable for maintaining and returning resources on time, etc.
Article 5: The applicant organisation must inform the library in writing about any changes to its address or cancellation of its representative order.
Article 6: As a loan, the representative of the organisation is only allowed to receive 5 copies of books and 3 reels of audio-visual resources about the subjects announced by the followed organisation.
Note 1: When it comes to volumes resources, one copy is considered for each registration number.
Note 2: The membership credit will be reduced by 300 Rials for everyday lending printed resources and 500 Rials for audio-visual resources.
Article 7: The applicant organisation is only allowed to borrow printed resources for two weeks and audio-visual resources for four days.
Article 8: The extension of resources on loan is limited to one time, with a maximum of 2 weeks for printed resources and 4 days for visual and audio resources. It's obvious that if you exceed the specified time, you will be subject to the delay law.
Note 1: If there is a delay for a day, the membership credit will be reduced by printed resources amounting to 500 Rials and audio-visual resources amounting to 1000 Rials.
Article 9: The library is not allowed to reproduce and display resources on loan without informing them, as they are subject to copyright law.
Article 10: If there is damage to the resources, an expert estimate will be used to determine compensation that will be deducted from the member's credit.
Chapter 3: Documents that are not loaned:
1.Yellow spine books (prohibited)
2. Qurans and exquisite objects 
3. Old books (before 1941)
4. Single copy books
5. Academic theses
6. Most requested books (based on the head of the department's determination)
7. Reference books (dictionaries, encyclopaedias, etc.)
8. Old textbooks 
This regulation, which includes an introduction, three chapters, ten articles and seven notes prepared by the public library department, was approved after confirmation by the respected head of the organisation at the eleventh meeting of the board of directors of the organisation on 25.9.2007.
