Online access became possible to a part of the manuscripts of the Astan Quds Razavi library

              The head of the organization of Libraries, Museums, and documents center of Astan Quds Razavi said that for the first time, access to one fifth of the 100,000 manuscripts in the library of Manuscripts was provided in cyber space.                                      
According to Razavi treasury, Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Jalal Hosseini said: "It has been made to facilitate the access of researchers and scholars to the manuscripts of the Astan Quds Razavi Library and today it is possible to download full text of 20,000 manuscripts in the cyber space.
            Being available to the manuscripts resources of Astan Quds Razavi library in the cyber space increases periodically, he said that access to this number of manuscripts in complete download of texts with desirable quality in comparision with other libraries is an unbelievable action.
            He said: It is expected that credible research institutes, research, teaching and universities centers will have access to library information resources by visiting the Internet portal of this library at www.digital.aqr.ir and receiving IPP.
             Referring to the existence of 30 million sources in the library, museums and document center of Astan Quds Razavi, he added that the major sources of study in the organization are digitized and its framing has been provided by the researchers.
             Having to say that access to the full text of manuscripts is a unique step that Astan Quds Razavi library has with more than 100,000 manuscripts, is the first in the world to provide access to this volume of resources for researchers.
