The emphasis of Astan Quds Razavi Libraries Director on the need for exchange of study resources during meeting with Pakistan Cultural Counselor
Astan Quds Razavi Libraries, Museums and Document Center Director announced that Razavi Library is ready to exchange study resources and establish a Digital Study Station in Pakistan. According to Razavi Treasury, the director of Astan Quds Razavi Libraries, Museums and Document Center met the cultural counselor of Pakistan Embassy in Mashhad, emphasized the need to exchange the study resources of two sides.
Hojat al-Islam Jalal Hosseini stated that “Book diplomacy” can be one of worlds the most powerful diplomacies. He explained: "The wisdom and culture of knowledge and book-based diplomacy must continue to exist, especially for countries such as Iran and Pakistan with a common cultural background and we must strive to revive the precious heritage we have received from the past.
He pointed that the research based foundation of the great Islamic civilization is depending on the findings of our ancestors. He noted: Our mission is not merely to preserve this great heritage but to provide it to researchers and provide background by doing research to achieve development for both parties.
Dr. Hosseini further stated that we would like to sign agreements with research institutes of Pakistan and added: As research centers are active in Pakistan and wish to exchange their research works with Astan Quds Library so we give priorities to research and provides researchers the required resources they need.
At the end, he announced that Astan Quds Razavi Digital Library is ready to start a Data Base Access Station in Pakistan Research Center. Regarding common activities in the field of manuscript exchange and holding museums, as well, he once again emphasized.
