Museum Objects

The AQR museum has four buildings, including the Qur’an, the Supreme Leader gifts, the central, carpet, anthropology, and sixteen specialized treasures with 18,000 square metres of display space and over 8,000 objects on display.

Museum of Qur’an and the Exquisite Objects: the world first Qur’anic museum of religious and artistic nature was established and opened under the suggestion of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in 1986. The collection of the ancient manuscript Qur'ans from the first centuries of Islam to the 19th century EC, also, Moraqqa from the Safavid period to the contemporary era and the collection of lacquered bindings and inscription tools have been exhibited.

Museum of the Supreme Leader Gifts: on February 11, 1995, a museum called Supreme Leader Gifts was opened on the ground floor of the Qur’an, and the Exquisite Objects Museum building. However, in the spring of 2017, It developed in three halls of the Qur'an, meaning, and content for the purpose of increasing the satisfaction of pilgrims and residents and their number increased, and new digital technology was employed as well.
