On the occasion of International Children's Day
The memorial ceremony of Ms. Claire Joubert, a French Muslim illustrator and author of children religious books titled "The Lady of Color and Story" for World Children's Day, was held in Quds Hall of Astan Quds Razavi Central Library.
According to Razavi treasuary, a group of elementary school children and audiences of this author's works were present in this event, which was held in collaboration with the Organization of Libraries, Museums, and Document Center, Beh Nashr Institute, and Vice Director of Promotion of Astan Quds Razavi.
Attention to children in the way of spreading the culture of reading
Hossein Khosravi, the deputy of affairs of Astan Quds Razavi libraries in this ceremony, explained Mehr 16 as the responsibility reminder of each one of us towards children who are the future builders of this country.
He stated: This organization, as a cultural organization, has paid special attention to children in the way of spreading the culture of reading books, and has created libraries or children's stations in most of the libraries affiliated to this organization across country, which form more than 60 collections.
Compilation of 110 works in Persian language
Dr. Mehdi Ferdowsi, responsible in charge of research and development of Beh Nashr, while enumerating Ms. Joubert's moral characteristics, pointed to the author's 110 works in Persian, which 27 publishers have collaborated in publishing, of which, 22 works of sum of these numbers have been published by Beh Nashr.
Along with promoting effective reading practices
Tohid Karimi, the director of "Bukzisto" collection, also attended the event by holding a workshop.
He, who has focused on the habit of reading books in his training courses and specialized workshops, believes that the habit of reading books increases the input of knowledge and guides the learner towards a dynamic and correct life.
An opportunity to meet the children's author
The continuation of this ceremony was hosted by Mehdi Simreez, the production manager of Beh Nashr publication, accompanied by Mrs. Claire Joubert, during this meeting, while getting to know the life and history of this children's literature author, the motivation of this author to enter the world of children and write for them was examined.
