Quranic Collection

There are 1809 titles of the Holy Quran in Arabic and Persian languages. The Quranic copies in other languages are 279. These Qurans are in English, French, German, Bulgarian, Russian, Swedish and etc. The oldest available Quran in lithography has been written by Mohammad Husain Al – Isfahani. It has been printed in Tabriz in 1245 L. C. This Quran has been endowed to the AQR library by Mohammad Shah one of the kings of Qajaar dynasty. The oldest copy of typographical Quran also belongs to Mirza Zainul Abedin’s publishing house which has been published in 1247 l.c. Among the collection there are the most precious Qurans regarding its box, calligraphy, the type of print and ect, as well.
