The winners of the 11th Festival of Razavi Book of the Year Were Appreciated

In total, during the third to eleventh period, more than 3,000 works have been reached at the secretariat of the Festival of Razavi Book of the Year, which were in different languages and the results are announced every year.

The secretary of the Festival of Razavi Book of the Year said, "In total, during the third to eleventh period, more than 3,000 works have been reached at the secretariat of the Festival of Razavi Book of the Year, which were in different languages and the results are announced every year."

 

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Organization of Libraries, Museums and Documents Center of Astan Quds Razavi, Mojtaba Bazrafshan Moghaddam, who spoke at the closing ceremony of the 11th Festival of Razavi Book of the Year, said, "This year, the 11th Festival of Razavi Book of the Year was held too, first and second periods did not hold in Mashhad, and since the third period until now, we carried out the International Razavi Book of the Year Festival in Mashhad. "

He added, "The secretariat of the Festival has endeavored to expand the scientific and research activities related to the various dimensions of the life and conduct of Imam Reza (A.S.) and his household, as well as the identification, encouragement and support of the producers and creators of the best artistic-cultural works, in order to take effective steps in this regard."

 

The secretary of theFestival of Razavi Book of the Year added, "With the start of the festival process, the festival's call was prepared in Farsi, English and Arabic and was published in festival site. At the Tehran International Book Fair, which was held in May this year, about 2,100 calls were delivered to domestic and foreign publishers. Also, about 4,000 domestic publishers and various organizations who publishing books in Razavi culture were invited, as well as representatives of foreign publishers and trade associations, including Digital Publishers Association, University Publishers Association, Children and Youth Publishers Association, Electronic Publishers Association, the Publishers and Booksellers Union in Qom, Mashhad and Tehran, Qur'anic Institutions, and Publishers' Islamic Associations."

 

Dr. Bazrafshan Moghaddam stated, "After the call, the festival's promotional teasers on billboards and televisions provided to the Astan Quds Razavi, were broadcasted throughout the city as well as inside the Shrine. Sacred places in Iran have also received this call and make people know. These calls have also been sent to about 2300 different publishers and authors as well as scientific and cultural figures, both domestic and foreign, and also writers who their works related to Imam Reza (A.S.)."

He continued, "In total, 4,500 Persian emails for Iranian people abroad, seven thousand calls in English and five thousand Arabic calls for embassies, libraries, mosques and Islamic centers of overseas schools have been sent. Also, publishers and Islamic scholars abroad, including Islamic Association of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) in New York, Islamic Center of America, World Federation of British Twelver Shiite Muslims in London, the Islamic Center of Imam Hussein (A.S.) in Sydney, etc., have also received this invitation."

The secretary of the Festival of Razavi Book of the Year said, "The results of these activities are the receipt of works which after the initial refinement reaches 324 titles. The works, which have come to the Secretariat from different countries, have been written in Persian, English, Arabic, French, and Urdu and so on. Of the total works, 263 in books, 6 in digital books, 18 in thesis and treatise, and 37 in supporting Razavi works were judged."

 

He continued, "The judgment of the works in this festival included preliminary arbitration, arbitration by groups designated by experts, and finally, a final review, in which 21 works in the book section, two in the thesis section, three in supporting Razavi works and one publisher in the active publishers section were selected and introduced."

Bazrafshan Moghaddam stated, "Astan Quds Razavi Publication and Islamic Research Foundation had a lot of works in this regard, and since they were also privileged in previous years, the referees decided to select other publisher as an active publisher from Pakistan."

The head of the Organization of Libraries, Museums and Documents Center of Astan Quds Razavi, on manuscripts and lithographic books with the theme of Imam Reza (A.S.), which are located in the library of Astan Quds Razavi, stated, "150 copies of the valuable manuscripts in the Library, Museums and Documents Center of Astan Quds Razavi are specifically about Imam Reza (A.S.). Among the lithographic books, there are more than 320 copies and in the bibliographic database, 631 volumes are about Imam Reza (A.S.). In total, 1,101 copies of these copies are directly related to Imam Reza (A.S.). Also, a handwritten Qur'an that was written on parchment in Kufic script is attributed to His blessed handwriting. On the whole, 91740 manuscripts and printed sources, Qur'an and artworks in the Calligraphic Handwritings Office related to Imam Reza (A.S.).

Following the ceremony, the statement of the jury of the 11th Festival of Razavi Book of the Year was read by jury's representative, Dr. Rahimi. Also, 29 of the published works in Astan Quds Razavi on the theme of Imam Reza (A.S.) were unveiled, and superior works of the 11th Festival of Razavi Book of the Year were appreciated.
