The Deadline for Sending Works to the 11th International Festival of Razavi Book of the Year Extended to June 17th
Executive secretary of International Festival of Razavi Book of the Year announced 17th of June as the submission deadline of the 11th festival.
According to Public Relations and International Affairs of the Organization of Libraries, Museums and Documents Center of Astan Quds Razavi, scientific secretary of International Festival of Razavi Book of the Year announced the news and said, “The 11th round of selection of Razavi book of the year was welcomed by both domestic and foreign writers”.
Mahdi Qeysari Nik announced that many books were received from Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Netherland, India, and Malaysia in this festival. He also added, “With respect to the request of many authors and publishers and with regard to the international informing via written media, news agencies, IRIB, sending announcements to the organizations and cultural, educational, and research centers outside Iran, and also recalls of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s cultural advisories, consulates and embassies in all around the world, it is prognosticated that many works are sent to the festival in many languages”. He also said, “With respect to these predictions, the submission deadline of the festival was extended to17th of June”.
He stated the dissemination and promotion of the Razavi illuminated culture, the expansion of scientific, artistic and research activities related to the conduct, life and various dimensions of the personality of the Eighth Imam (A.S.), recognition, glorification and protection of producers and the authors of the best cultural and artistic works in the field of Razavi culture and aiding their wildly spread, among the goals of the International Festival of Razavi Book of the Year and expressed, “The 11th Festival with the content of writing, translation and dissertation with the subject of Imam Reza (A.S.) and his family, on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Imam Reza (A.S.) and Hazrat Fatemeh (S.A.), coincident with Karamat Ten Days celebrations will be held at the Organization of Libraries, Museums and the Documents Center of Astan Quds Razavi.”
Pointing to the fact that the eleventh festival includes several sections, such as printed book, e-book, dissertation, supporting Razavi works and active publishers, and the submitted works should be in one of the five sections on the subject of Imam Reza (A.S.) and his household published during the years 2017 and 2018, he added, “Works with the topic of Imam Reza (A.S.) and his household including Imam Musa al-Kazim (A.S.), Hazrat Jawad al-A’imma (A.S.), Hazrat Hussein b. Musa al-Kazim (A.S.), Hazrat Ahmad b. Musa Al- Kazim, [Shah Cheraq] (A.S.) and Hazrat Fatimah Ma’suma (S.A.) in each of the five sections will be presented at the festival and will be evaluated and judged.
