Identifying, praising and supporting the producers and creators of the best scientific, cultural and artistic works in the field of Razavi culture
Developing the modern Islamic civilization discourse
Themes or the main subjects
Themes or subjects of all the submitted works to the festival should be as follows:
Imam al-Riḍā (P.B.U.H.) and his family – i.e. Imam Mūsā al-Kāẓim, Imam Muḥammad bin ‘Alī al-Jawād, Imam ‘Alī bin Muḥammad al-Hādī (P.B.U.H.), Imam Ḥasan bin ‘Alī al-’Askarī, Imam Ḥujjat bin al-Ḥasan al-Mahdī (P.B.U.H.), Imam Ḥusayn bin Mūsā al-Kāẓim, Aḥmad bin Mūsā al-Kāẓim “Shah Cheragh” (P.B.U.H.), and Lady Fāṭima Ma̒ṣūma (P.B.U.H.).
Festival Sections
Section One: Published Books
Examining and selecting the published books would be in the eight following pivots:
Qur’anic exegesis and sciences
History and lifestyle
Knowledge and sciences (ḥadīth (or traditions); ethics; philosophy; theology; jurisprudence; psychology; social sciences; anthropology; pedagogy; Ṭib ul-Riḍā with the two approaches of the old and new medicine, etc.
Pilgrimage
The Sanctified Shrine and sacred sites or premises
Psychology, social sciences, and educational sciences
Poetry
Fiction, drama, and literary writing (long or short stories, anecdotes; minimal stories; plays; scenarios; …)
Children and youngsters.
The selected works in every eight field mentioned above shall be awarded with the festival sculpture, letters of commendation, and valuable rewards.
Section Two: Digital and Audio Books
The selected works in the said subject or section shall be awarded with the festival sculpture, letters of commendation, and valuable rewards.
Section Three: Academic Theses and Islamic Seminary Dissertations
The selected works in the said subject shall be awarded with the festival sculpture, letters of commendation, and valuable rewards.
Section Four: Unpublished Works
The unpublished works are including the scientific research works; corrected and revised literary works and manuscripts with the said subjects of the festival.
The selected works in the said subject shall be awarded with the festival sculpture, letters of commendation, and valuable rewards. Furthermore, the festival’s secretariat shall undertake the publishing of the works in question.
Section Five: Active Publishers
The selected works in this section shall be awarded with the festival sculpture, letters Field of commendation, and valuable rewards.
Section Six: International Field
International section includes the best works authored in a popular language on the festival’s main subject which covers a large audience in the world.
The selected works in the said subject shall be awarded with the festival sculpture, letters of commendation, and the following rewards: €700 (first place), €500 (second place), and €300 (third place). Moreover, the secretariat of the festival shall support the best works in various ways (such as the publication, purchase, etc.).
Section Seven: Sirāj Award
Sirāj award shall be granted to the best translated works from Persian into popular languages of the world which have a large number of audience [in the reverse translation movement (translation from Farsi into other languages)] in the field of the Islamic sciences and Ahl-ul-Bayt’s [the Infallibles’] (P.B.U.T.) teachings.
The selected works in the said subject shall be awarded with the festival sculpture, letters of commendation, and the especial reward of €1000.
Section Eight: ‘Ālim-i Āl-i Muḥammad Award
The ‘Ālim-i Āl-i Muḥammad - (The scholar of the family of Muḥammad) peace be upon him and his household- award, granted to the most active foreign publisher in the field of the Islamic sciences and Ahl-ul-Bayt’s [the Infallibles’] (P.B.U.T.) teachings.
The selected works in the said subject shall be awarded with the festival sculpture, letters of commendation, and the especial reward of €1000.
