332 Works Received by the Tenth Festival of Raḍawī Book of the Year Selection were Presented to be Judged for Award
As reported by the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Organization of Libraries, Museums and Document Center of Āstān Quds Raḍawī, the executive director of the Tenth International Festival of Raḍawī Book of the Year Selection announced that the total 332 works received by The Tenth International Festival of Raḍawī Book of the Year Selection, include 255 books, 12 dissertations, 40 books in the section of Supporting Raḍawī Works, and 25 digital books. Mahdi Qaysari Nik mentioned: 50 of the total works received are in non-Persian languages that have been sent to judgment groups of Raḍawī sciences and knowledge, Raḍawī history and sīra, pilgrimage and Tib al-Riḍā (A.S.), poetry, story, children and adolescents, translation, and foreign languages for evaluation and announcement of the superior works in Raḍawī field and the Household of Imam Riḍā (A.S.). Stating that the works received are in Persian, Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Azeri Turkish, Korean, Urdu, Uzbek, and Swahili, he added these books have been received by The Tenth International Festival of Raḍawī Book of the Year Selection from various countries like Lebanon, South Korea, South Africa, Algiers, India, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, etc. He asserted that most of the received works are in fields of Raḍawī sciences and knowledge and Raḍawī history and sīra, and most of the works received by the secretariat include books pivoting on children and adolescent, Raḍawī sciences and knowledge, Raḍawī history and sīra, and translation of foreign languages; and a number of these works consist of three sections of “digital books”, “dissertations”, and “Supporting Raḍawī Works”.
It is worth-mentioning that the closing ceremonies of the Tenth International Festival of Raḍawī Book of the Year Selection will be held in the Holy Shrine of Imam Riḍā (A.S.) during the “Ten-day Karāmat (generosity) Celebrations” in the presence of scholars, literati, writers, publishers, and those active in the field of Raḍawī culture.
