More than 480 periodicals related to different cities of Lorestan province are kept in Razavi Press Archive. This amount of periodicals places this archive at the top of Lorestan-research centers.

Razavi Press Archive in the First Line of Lorestan- Research work

According to Razavi Treasury, the officer of Astan Quds Razavi Press Office announced: In the press archive of Astan Quds Razavi Central Library, 480 titles of periodicals related to different cities of Lorestan province have been archived, which have been published in the last 70 years and more than 450 related titles belong to the period after the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
Ebrahim Hafezi stated that the cities of Khorramabad and Boroujerd had the largest share in the publication of the magazine, added: 165 titles of weekly and newspaper have been published in this province during the last 70 years.  the universities of the province with 140 titles are at the top of press publishers, among them 107 titles belong to university students.
He added: The most important and oldest newspapers of this province such as "Raz", "Tali’eyeh Lorestan", "Forough-e Lorestan" and publications such as "Neday-e Lorestan", "Seday-e Lorestan", "Zabaan-e Lorestan" and "Pahlavi  Boroujerd High School's annuals"  are a number of The 20th and 30th centuries of the solar year publications, that  copies of which are available in Astan Quds Razavi Press Archive.

Hafezi stated that 290 titles of Lorestan province publications in Razavi treasury have been donated to Astan Quds Razavi Library by Professor Seyed Farid Ghasemi, nicknamed "Iranian Press Memory".   He added: ‘‘one of the study branches of this prominent Iranian journal researcher is Lorestan studies, and he has authored and collected many resources in this field and has dedicated an important collection of books and press to the city of Khorramabad.’’

He continued: ‘’Master Ghasemi, who is a native of Khorramabad, in 1392, in a valuable and God-pleasing action with the aim of preserving these precious works, presented this exquisite collection of Iranian press including 2,000 periodicals to Astan Quds Razavi Library, which is kept in a hall named after him.
At the end, Hafezi pointed out that many publications from all provinces of Iran had been assembled and archived in Astan Quds Razavi Press Archive. He mentioned:” 40 years after its independent formation, Astan Quds Press Office is now ready to response the researchers across the country with an important collection of press reports.
